We’re just about to finish hammering out 80% of the plans. Just a heads-up – our plans had to be scaled back to a cocktail reception with a dinner afterward for the party plus some out-of-towners. But it ends up saving us perhaps as much as 3000 dollars, to be truthful, so here’s hoping for the best!
We set aside the cake, today! $410.00 bucks for a cake (actually two of them) that serves almost 160 people, so we should be safe! ‘Twill be strawberry shortcake, so Jeff will have to limit himself to the Groom’s cake, or we might get a small cake specifically for people with strawberry and dairy allergies, who knows. We’re below budget on the cake, so that’s a really good sign of what’s to come!
